12. Bullet your whole day.
My day today:
- Boyd woke me up at 7am, just as he was leaving for work.
- Stumbled downstairs to make a cup of tea.
- Read my Psalm for the day. I'm working my way through the psalms.
- Cleaned our room. Did our weekly chores that are supposed to be done before Sunday night. Oops!
- Read blogs about international non-profits (and my friend's blogs).
- Got call from Boyd saying that he might have an intestinal parasite.
- Had conference call for CFOI, where I am a Board member.
- Ate cornbread (thanks, Louise!) and deviled eggs for lunch.
- Got coupon for free undies in the mail!
- Printed letters, envelopes and photos for 20 thank you notes to SIA donors.
- Stuffed envelopes and put letters in mail box - listened to Planet Money podcasts.
- Tried calling CA DMV to get refund for our car registration there - was placed on a 2 hour-long hold list. I'll let you know if they ever get back to me today...
- Wrote a follow-up report of the organization I visited in Malawi in July.
- Folded the laundry off the clothesline.
- After 2 hours, got the call back from the DMV but then got immediately disconnected and lost my place in line.
- Read a chapter of "A Visit from the Goon Squad", hoping the DMV would magically call me back.
- Called the DMV again and this time my estimated hold time is only 1.5-1.75 hours!
- Found a recipe for a potato frittata for dinner tonight.
- Got another call back from the DMV. This time it went through!
- Wrote an email to the SIA Board of Directors giving them a general update.
- Read a few pages from my new Agatha Christie "Bedside, Bathtud, and Armchair Companion" (It's really called that!), which I got from a garage sale on Saturday.
- Made dinner for Boyd.
- Now: Watching 2 episodes of the Canadian drug crime drama, Intelligence on Netflix Instant.
- Soon: Going to bed!
